These measurements exceed the Ministry of Primary Industry (MPI) Manuka Honey Science definition. Puriti certified UMF Manuka Honey is available in grades from 10+ UMF through to 31+ UMF. Puriti is the Manuka Honey brand of Midland Apiaries whose history dates back nearly 100 years. They are based in Ashburton and source their honeys from all over New Zealand where beehives are placed on unpolluted lands.
All of their Manuka Honey, for both the domestic and export markets, carries the assurance of quality. Puriti test over and above the required New Zealand testing regulations ensuring their honey is of the highest standard.
A further protection for you, the customer, is the use of anti-counterfeiting measures on their jars. This means that their Manuka Honey is of the very best quality, with all steps of the production process undertaken in New Zealand, from the sourcing of the honey to the end product.
