Kare is a family-owned, award winning New Zealand company based on their Karetu farm in the sunny Bay of Islands. They believe in producing healthy food that everyone around the world can benefit from. With the growing global awareness of the environment and its impact on health, you can be sure Kare’s Manuka Honey is natural and pure.
Kare are passionate about caring for people, the environment and minimising their carbon footprint and have planted 22 hectares of trees to offset this. All of their packaging is 100% recyclable. 10% of Kare’s profits are used to sponsor disadvantaged children in New Zealand and overseas.
The Northland areas where Kare source their Manuka Honey from has a beautiful semi-tropical climate. After the winter months, Northland is the first area of New Zealand where the Manuka starts to flower. The bees feast on these flowers and the resulting honey is very pure: rich in all the health benefitting compounds that Manuka Honey is known for.
