Founded in 2016 by husband-and-wife team Nico and Emily Bonnaud, Honest Chocolat began in a small Snells Beach garage with a passion for crafting high-quality, single-origin chocolate. Their dedication quickly earned acclaim, including Best Chocolate Bar at the 2017 NZ Chocolate Awards for their Salted Caramel and Buckwheat Milk Chocolate. Now based in Matakana Village, Honest Chocolat continues to handcraft exceptional, great-tasting chocolate made with care and creativity.
