Melora Honey operate their factories from Opotiki and Whakatane and place their beehives in some of the most remote areas of New Zealand’s east coast. Bee health is optimised through hives having their own identification tag which can be accessed electronically. Information is gathered daily, and databases updated to ensure an authentic product. Factories in Opotiki and Whakatane process the raw unpasteurized honey. It is only lightly filtered to ensure that all the goodness is retained. Through Melora’s Ethical Honey Harvesting programme, the Manuka is ethically and sustainably sourced and harvested to create honey and skincare products rich with Manuka's health providing benefits. Melora’s Fair Share Programme ensures that a percentage of the income from their Manuka Honey and products benefits the Maori landowner partners. Melora is a member and licensee of the Unique Manuka Factor Honey Association. This guarantees that through independent testing and adhering to strict conditions, their Manuka Honey is genuine and of a high quality.

We deliver globally via DHL Express. In most cases orders arrive within 3-5 days anywhere in the world. We ship within 3 business days from the time your order is placed. You will be contacted should delays occur.

UK orders
Due to the new tax rules in the UK, effective 1 Jan 2021, we are unable to fulfil any orders under £135. Orders over £135 can be placed but are subject to UK tax requirements. Options will be displayed at checkout.

FREE delivery within New Zealand on all orders over NZD $100. For orders under this amount, postage is just $6.90.
CUSTOMS/IMPORT REGULATIONS | DUTY & TAX
We are unable to ship honey above 2kg to China or the European Union. Customs and import regulations vary widely between countries. Unfortunately, it's not possible for us to be aware of all of the regulations specific to any given country. However, for all international deliveries we offer a free prepaid duty & tax service. This gives the sender (purchaser) the option to prepay any applicable duty & tax that may be incurred by the destination country's customs department. We are using the DHL and/or Zonos service for this, which guarantee up to date information on duty & tax requirements and fees. This ensures your items will arrive without any delays or hassle. Fees charged are passed on directly to customs or the carrier.
