This beautiful Manuka Honey is raw and straight from the hive having undergone a minimum of processing to extract the honey out of the comb and into glass jars. The honey doesn't get heated beyond natural hive temperatures and neither is it creamed to retain its healthy enzymes and full flavour.
All NZ Raw Honey Company honey originates from a single batch, it’s never blended and always a bit different in taste and texture. The QR code on the jar can be scanned to find out where the bees foraged for the honey allowing for ultimate transparency.

The NZ Raw Honey Company believes honey should be single batch, raw and not be heated beyond natural temperatures within a bee hive - this ensures superior taste while preserving the honey's health supporting enzymes. This philosophy sets them apart from many conventional honeys that are creamed and blended together for uniformity. Jeff Lukey, the founder of the NZ Raw Honey Company has been beekeeping for more than 40 years coming from a family of beekeepers spanning three generations. He recognises the importance of bees for our ecosystem and follows traditional and sustainable beekeeping practices. The NZ Raw Honey Company are members of the Unique Manuka Factor Honey Association (UMFHA) which means every batch of Manuka Honey is independently laboratory tested and certified as being authentic Manuka Honey.
All pure monofloral Manuka Honeys come in varying degrees of strength. Different brands use different grading systems to highlight the strength or bioactivity. UMF and MGO are the most commonly used grading systems and the most trusted.

I had the privilege of being given a jar of this. It is the best honey I have ever tasted, and the consistency is brilliant. It stayed runny enough to pour from a spoon right until the end of the jar. No crystallisation at all. Absolutely brilliant, I cant wait for it to be in stock again.
