Description
Onuku’s 10+ UMF (MGO 263+) Manuka Honey has been ethically sourced and sustainably harvested from beehives placed at the base of New Zealand’s Mount Tarawera. Here the Manuka trees flourish in the rich fertile soils and the bees convert the nectar into unique Manuka Honey. This honey is not only a tasty superfood, but it is also full of the special health benefitting compounds that Manuka is known for.
Onuku are members of The Unique Manuka Honey Association in New Zealand who have certified this honey for its purity and quality and given it the 10+ UMF (MGO 263+) rating. Methylglyoxal (MGO) is one of the unique compounds found in Manuka Honey. This 10+ UMF (MGO 263+) honey has a high level of potency and has been certified by the New Zealand Government to authenticate its purity. Onuku's certified UMF/MGO Manuka Honey is available in grades from 5+ UMF (MGO 83+) through to 25+ UMF (MGO 1200+). The higher grades signify higher concentrations of the unique Manuka Honey compounds and potency. The higher the UMF/MGO grading, the higher the Manuka Honey's quality and purity.
Every jar of Onuku’s Manuka Honey can be traced through their unique track and trace system; ApiTrak. This allows you to track your Onuku 10+ UMF (MGO 263+) Manuka Honey from the hives through to the end product. This system also allows you to access the independent laboratory testing results, so you can be sure of the authenticity of this superior honey. Onuku also guarantee that this honey is compliant with the Non-GMO Project.
