The NZ Raw Honey Company believes honey should be single batch, raw and not be heated beyond natural temperatures within a bee hive - this ensures superior taste while preserving the honey's health supporting enzymes. This philosophy sets them apart from many conventional honeys that are creamed and blended together for uniformity.  

Jeff Lukey, the founder of the NZ Raw Honey Company has been beekeeping for more than 40 years coming from a family of beekeepers spanning three generations. He recognises the importance of bees for our ecosystem and follows traditional and sustainable beekeeping practices. 

The NZ Raw Honey Company are members of the Unique Manuka Factor Honey Association (UMFHA) which means every batch of Manuka Honey is independently laboratory tested and certified as being authentic Manuka Honey.
